Our CEO Thinks AI Should be embraced in Humanitarian and Development Work

Published on 16 June 2024 at 20:16

Our CEO Abdulahi Musse Adem had a fruitful business discussions with the CEO and Founder oof one of the largest AI solutions here in Ireland. here are his thoughts.

☑ Ethical AI is possible and can be beneficial to humanitarian and development work

☑ Areas were AI can make a difference include data analysis - qualitative data were you may have multiple languages or managing large sets of Data.

☑ Generating reports with data collected such as nice graphs or statistical information.

☑ Its possible to customize to your needs and can save valuable time. for instance, a process that can take 1 week can be done in minutes if the right information is inputted.

☑ Consultants can reduce expenses and save costs.

☑ Human guidance and inputs are needed even in AI work, therefore you need to be on top of your game to ensure quality of your work - don't get me wrong, AI can really make good work like 99.3% efficiency, but your guidance is needed as well to make it 100%.

☑ To make use of AI efficiently we need to change the perception around it and embrace the change. we need to build efficiency and use AI tools to our advantage.

Will we change our approach and embrace the opportunities presented by the recent advances in AI technology ?

Thank you,

Abdulahi Adem
